Aberdeen Recognition Event

On June 8, at the Park Café, around 25 Panel Member, Area Support Team Members, and Boyd McAdam (National Convener and Chief Executive) attended this annual event.

Aberdeen Learning and Development Coordinator, Les Henderson hosted the event and was the quizmaster for the now notorious quiz which comprises both general knowledge and Children’s Hearings Scotland related questions. Scoring was close, and with only 20 or so arguments, a returning Laura Conachan (former Area Convener) led her team to – what we’ve been told was – a hotly disputed victory.

Boyd presented recognition certificates to Les Henderson for a service of 5 years, Mike Taylor for a service of 10 years, and to Margaret Cooper for an amazing 20 years’ service (pictured).
